the revolution

i joined myspace the other day. yup, i actually did it. i maintained for a very long time that myspace was nothing more than the drunk, trashy, ugly step-sibling of facebook. but i figured that, hey, with all of my free time, i should give it a fair shake. so the other day, i (somewhat) successfully made my myspace account. guess what?

...yup, still trashy. and hard to use. thank god i had andy around to help walk me through how to figure out some of that shit. i'm no dummy, and i'm pretty computer literate, but navigating through all of the "punch george bush in the face" ads and the dead links/server not responding messages is quite annoying. but hey, i survived and even got a picture up there and requested a few friends. i even had a few people request to be my friend!

so the question now becomes... do i pimp my myspace page? some people's pages are so ridiculous that you can't even read what is on there... once again, just re-inforcing the trashiness.
